Kombi Keg South Coast Mobile Bar

We believe the bar at any event is a focal point, a gathering spot for guests to mingle. Why not give them something to remember?

Our beautifully restored 1971 Low Light Kombi is a versatile mobile tap bar capable of pouring kegs of beer, cider, wine, cocktails and soft drinks. You can hire the Kombi just on its own, or we can take care of all your bar needs. Working with you, we will put together a drinks package to suit any occasion and along with our props and styling, we can create a cool bar area complete with pallet bar,  festoon lighting, tables, chairs, picnic rugs, cushions, garden games and large marquee lights.

When it comes to pouring the drinks, your guests can either help themselves or we can provide professional and friendly bartenders to help serve up the beverages.

Kombi Keg South Coast Keg is available to cater for weddings, parties, festivals, promotions, corporate functions, photo shoots and other important occasions. We service the Sydney, Sutherland Shire, Wollongong, South Coast (Illawarra), Shoalhaven, Southern Highlands of NSW and surrounding areas.

Declan & Eddie

Hey, my name is Declan & this is Ed, or as I like to call him Dad. We are a a father son duo operating out of the beautiful South Coast.

Our journey began when Ed first come across the Kombi. He came to me with these big puppy dog eyes and goes “Dec, this is my dream!” Few months later we picked up ‘Marmalade’ and here we are!

Ed is the beer man. Being born & bred in Ireland it was inevitable ☘️. He’s an avid home brewer & is the perfect bloke to speak to about all things beer 🍻 I’m the front man. Events, planning, marketing, I’m your guy. But if you just want to chat about how good the surf is, I’m your guy for that too!

We both share a business/commerce oriented background but mostly enjoy the simple pleasure in life – laughs, smiles, good company and cold beer 🍻

Need more info? Frequently Asked Questions

What area do you service?

Sutherland Shire, South Coast and Southern Highlands. Basically from Helensburgh down to Gerringong and all the way out to Bowral, although we’re more than happy to go further if needed.

How much is it to hire the Kombi Keg?

There are too many variables between the different events to list a fixed price on our website. Head to our Hire Packages page to see the packages we offer. Or alternatively tell us all about your event and we’ll create a package for you – just email or call!

Where can Kombi Keg go?

First of all, you will need a venue that the Kombi Keg can access, most large properties are fine, but if you are using your backyard just check that we can get the Kombi Keg in.

The Kombi Keg needs to be on private property, as it can not be used on council property without a permit.

Most hire venues are private property, however every venue has different rules, so check with the venue for their rules and regulations around the serving of alcohol and the use of the Kombi Keg. It is the responsibility of the person hiring the Kombi Keg before booking as all deposits are non refundable.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes

Can the Kombi Keg dispense drinks other than beer?

Yes! Anything that comes in keg form can be served through the freezing cold taps of the Kombi Keg. Including ciders, wine, water, soft drinks etc. You can even run your own home brew!

Can you organise the drinks for our event?

Yes! Consider us your one-stop shop for your event bar needs. Although we love using our local suppliers, we can get our hands on more commercial brands if so desired. We create drink packages to suit all tastes and budgets.

Do you stay and serve the drinks?

We can supply staff with an RSA and would be happy to stay and serve your guests at an additional cost.

If it is on private property then there is a great chance that it can be self serve however you would need to check this out for your area and your event venue.
