The Kombi Keg creates an outdoor rustic themed backdrop at any event, making for spectacular wedding, party and event photos to treasure for years to come.
Our vintage kombi has 6 icy cold taps on the side that can pour just about any alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink that you can think of. Oh, and there’s a 55” smart TV that pops out of the roof to entertain your guests with photos, messages, or even play music, movies or watch your favourite sports event. The TV is also great to promote a new product or service at your brand activation event.

How Kombi Keg Operates
Kombi Keg Pilbara is more than just a mobile bar—it’s an experience! Our vintage Kombi van, Koko, comes fully equipped with 6 ice-cold taps that can pour everything from beer, cider, and wine to soft drinks and mocktails. You choose the beverages, and we’ll have them ready to go! Here’s how it works:
- Select Your Drinks: You provide the kegs, or we can help organize them for you. Kombi Keg can serve a variety of beverages to suit your event.
- Self-Serve or Staffed: Kombi Keg can be a self-serve bar, allowing your guests to pour their own drinks from our taps, or we can arrange professional bartenders if you prefer.
- Rooftop TV: Add some extra flair to your event with our built-in 55” rooftop TV. Perfect for displaying a custom digital bar menu, promotional content, or even playing music videos and slideshows.
- Delivery & Setup: We deliver Kombi Keg to your location, set everything up, and ensure the taps are ready to flow. All we need is a level surface to park the van.
- Stress-Free Pack-Up: After your event, we take care of the pack-up, leaving you to enjoy your party without worrying about cleanup.

A Little History
Kombi Keg Pilbara began with Bec and Luke, two Fremantle locals who made the move to Dampier in 2008 during the mining boom. With a deep love for their new home in the Pilbara, they noticed a gap in the event scene—something fun, unique, and memorable. In 2024, they brought Kombi Keg to the region, naming their vintage Kombi van “Koko” after the iconic red kelpie from the Red Dog movie. Just like Red Dog, Koko is ready to travel far and wide, offering a one-of-a-kind mobile bar experience to events throughout the Pilbara.
Meet Bec & Luke!
We are Bec and Luke, the proud owners of Kombi Keg Pilbara! Born and raised in Fremantle, we moved to Dampier in 2008 during the mining boom and have been calling the Pilbara home ever since. Together with our three energetic boys, we love exploring the vast beauty of the region we now live, work, and play in.
Bec is the Bar Manager at the Dampier Bowling Club and a dedicated horse lover, always kept busy with our two horses. Luke works as a mechanical maintainer for Rio Tinto at the Dampier Ports Operation and volunteers as the secretary of the Bowling Club, spending his free time helping with bar duties, minor greenkeeping, and keeping the club lively.
We’re passionate about the Pilbara, especially during the winter months when the temperatures stay warm and perfect for outdoor events. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce Kombi Keg Pilbara! Our Kombi van, Koko (named after the famous red kelpie from the Red Dog movie), is ready to hit the road and bring a unique mobile bar experience to events across the region—from Karratha, Port Hedland, and Exmouth to the inland towns of Tom Price, Paraburdoo, and more.

Please Note
The Kombi Keg is hired out as a ‘dry hire’ with no alcohol included. As we don’t carry a liquor license we cannot directly purchase alcohol for you, but we can help you organise your kegs and drinks, and pick them up and return them to the supplier after the event. We have connections to local breweries and beer companies who can put together great packages for Kombi Keg customers. We also have 19L kegs that can be used for homebrew, soft drink, and water. Just let us know when you book what you need and we will make it happen.
