Kombi Keg Adelaide can provide a unique mobile bar service for your upcoming event, whether it be a wedding, birthday party or corporate function. In fact, Frankie, our beautifully restored 1972 Low Light Kombi is ready to make any event one to remember – no matter the occasion.

Frankie has 6 taps that are capable of being connected to 19L, 30L and 50L kegs of beer or cider. We also have a list of delicious cocktails by the keg available.

Non-alcoholic beverages can also be dispensed out of the van with our empty 19L Kegs that can be filled with soft drink & water. There are also 3 drink tubs at the rear of the mobile bar, filled with ice to keep your other bottled drinks cold.

We can even provide bar staff to pour the drinks for you, or your guests can help themselves – the choice is up to you. When your event is over, we pack up the mobile bar and drive out.

  • Kombi Keg branded plastic cups;

Bench options to suit your theme

Our unique surfboard bench is the original and classic bench of the Kombi Keg mobile bar, but we understand that not everyone wants the surfboard and that some events prefer a classier option. Therefore, we also have the option of a rustic wooden bench.

Rooftop TV

Pop-up flat-screen TV so you can watch the game in style, show movies, photos, logos, live TV etc. Power hook up may be required at your venue of choice to operate the TV.

Kombi Keg Adelaide will help make your event as stress-free as possible

On the date of your event, we will deliver our mobile bar to your venue of choice, hook up and set the pressures of the kegs and test the flow. We then leave you to it and return to pick up the Kombi after the event.

Or if you prefer a catered event, we can provide experienced bartenders to serve your guests for the length of your event, or just for a few hours, leaving the bar self-serve for the rest of the night (for overnight bookings).

Meet Frankie, our 1972 Low Light Kombi.

Previously known as “Hula Girl”, Frankie the mobile bar started her life in the cultural hub of Melbourne where she spent her days as a builder’s van helping out wherever she could. But she longed to live the true Kombi life, transforming into the ultimate camper van and making the journey up the East Coast to Queensland.

Frankie spent a couple of years exploring the Australian landscape and all it has to offer, before settling down again as a reliable commuter vehicle for her owner for over 10 years. But that passion for adventure was still on her mind, and just in time she was offered a new life as a Kombi Keg mobile bar.

Frankie now loves the South Australian life, bringing the party on tap wherever she goes and creating special memories for the people she meets. Book in Frankie for your never event today.

We also have connections to local breweries and beer companies who can put together great packages for Kombi Keg customers. We also have 19L kegs that can be used for home brew, soft drink, and water. How much does it cost to hire a mobile bar in Adelaide?

Many variable costs go into hiring a mobile bar from Kombi Keg Adelaide. Where can Frankie the Kombi Keg go?

Our VW Kombi Keg (Frankie) can access most large properties and venues throughout our service area in South Australia. The mobile bar needs to be on private property, as it cannot be used on council property without a permit. Most hire venues are private property, however, every venue has different rules, so check with the venue for their rules and regulations around the serving of alcohol and the use of the Kombi Keg. It is the responsibility of the person hiring the Kombi Keg before booking as all deposits are non-refundable.

Can you dispense drinks other than beer?

Yes! Anything that comes in keg form can be served through the freezing cold taps of the Kombi Keg mobile bar. This includes ciders, wine, water, soft drinks, etc. You can even serve your own homebrew.

Can we organise keg hire from Kombi Keg Adelaide directly?

Yes! Consider us your one-stop-shop for your event bar needs. Although we love using our local suppliers, we can get our hands on more commercial brands if so desired. We create drink packages to suit all tastes and budgets.

Do you also serve the drinks?

We can supply staff with an RSA and would be happy to stay and serve your guests as an optional extra. If your mobile bar hire is for a private property, there is a great chance that it can be self-serve. However, you would need to check this out for your area and your event venue.

How many kegs will I need?

This is only a general rule of thumb. You know your guests better than anyone else, take into consideration the fact that you might have big drinkers or that maybe only a few enjoy a tipple.

  • 50 people (3-5 drinks per person): 1 x 50L keg, 1 x 30L keg
  • 100 people (3-5 drinks per person): 3 x 50L kegs
  • 150 people (3-5 drinks per person): 4 x 50L kegs, 1 x 30L keg
  • 200 people (3-5 drinks per person): 6 x 50L kegs
