How Kombi Keg Operates
The Kombi Keg mobile bar is equipped with 6 taps that are capable of being connected to 19L, 30L and 50L kegs of beer or cider.
We also have a list of delicious cocktails by the keg available! Non-alcoholic beverages can also be dispensed out of the van with our empty 19L Kegs that can be filled with any drink of your choice including soft drink & water! There are 3 drinks tubs at the rear of the van, filled with ice to keep your other bottled drinks cold.
At Kombi Keg Bundaberg, we’re extremely versatile. Whether you’re planning a brand activation or a bucks party, we’ve got the drinks covered! If you also require, we can provide staff to pour the drinks for you, or your guests can help themselves! When your event is over, we pack up and drive out, simple as that!

It's the details that make the difference
You need a bench to start serving drinks from the pop-up bar! When you hire the Kombi Keg mobile bar, you have a choice of either the surfboard bench, which is the original and classic or the rustic wooden bench for a classier option.
The roof of the Kombi Keg is equipped with a pop-up flat-screen TV so you can watch the game in style, show movies, photos, logos, live TV etc. Just remember, a power hook up is required to operate the TV.
We will make sure you're set up for success
We’ll take care of delivery of the Kombi Keg to the venue and set up. Once everything is set up and working as it should, we then leave you to it and return to pick up the Kombi after the event! We are based in Bundaberg, although our service area stems south to Hervey Bay & Maryborough and surrounding areas, north to Gladstone and surrounding areas and of course everywhere else in between. All you need to do is let us know a place and time and we’ll take care of the rest.
A Little History
Let us introduce you to our 1974 Bay Window Kombi, Tellie.
Tellie was purchased brand new in 1975 by Telecom (now Telstra for anyone too young to remember)! This old bus would travel all over South Australia carrying phone lines and cables for connections, repairs and maintenance! She was originally bright orange and later repainted with white house paint. If you’re over 30 you’ll probably remember that orange Telecom logo they were trying to cover.
Beryl was the second owner when she purchased Tellie in 1979, she was driven for another 11 years and then parked in the ‘shed’. A pretty rough old shed with a few holes in the roof and a missing side but a shed nonetheless! Tellie’s last job was layin’ cables ☎ but now transformed, she’ll be pouring ice-cold beer at your next event! So when looking for mobile bar hire in Bundaberg, look no further!
Contact Us Today
The Kombi Keg is hired out as a ‘dry hire’ with no alcohol included. As we don’t carry a liquor license we cannot directly purchase alcohol for you, but we can help you organise your kegs and drinks, and pick them up and return them to the supplier after the event. We have connections to local breweries and beer companies who can put together great packages for Kombi Keg customers. We also have 19L kegs that can be used for home brew, soft drink, and water. Just let us know when you book what you need and we will make it happen.

Many variable costs go into hiring a mobile bar from Kombi Keg Bundaberg. Our VW Kombi Keg can access most large properties and venues throughout our service area. The Kombi Keg mobile bar needs to be on private property, as it cannot be used on council property without a permit. Most hire venues are private property, however, every venue has different rules, so check with the venue for their rules and regulations around the serving of alcohol and the use of Kombi Keg Bundaberg. It is the responsibility of the person hiring Kombi Keg to check this before booking as all deposits are non-refundable.
Yes! Anything that comes in keg form can be served through the freezing cold taps of the Kombi Keg. Including ciders, wine, water, soft drinks etc. You can even run your homebrew.
Yes! Consider us your one-stop-shop for your event bar needs. Although we love using our local suppliers, we can get our hands on more commercial brands if so desired. We create drink packages to suit all tastes and budgets.
We can supply staff with an RSA and would be happy to stay and serve your guests as an optional extra. If your mobile bar hire is for private property, there is a great chance that it can be self-serve. However, you would need to check this out for your area and your event venue.
This is only a general rule of thumb. You know your guests better than anyone else, take into consideration the fact that you might have big drinkers or that maybe only a few enjoy a tipple.
