Add a sophisticated retro feel to your next birthday party, function or wedding event.
Kombi Keg can help you stand out at any licensed event. We can visit your brewery or join you at a food-truck market. Serve kegs of your favourite beer or cider in style.
We have a range of alcohol choices and beer kegs to suit your guests. We can deliver the Kombi and leave, or provide experienced bar staff to serve.
Our Kombi is a unique and versatile mobile bar with 6 beer taps ready to pour commercial quantities of beer, cider and other draft products, all wrapped up in a beautifully restored 1974 VW Kombi.
If you wet hire, we’ll provide you with bar staff. If you dry hire, we’ll show you how it works on drop off. We’ll give some training and we will leave you with a set of notes and a number to call.

How Kombi Keg Operates
We are licensed and are able to offer either “wet hire” where you order your drinks directly through us from our extensive beer, wine, cocktail and cider menu, or “dry hire” where you provide your own kegged drinks to serve via the Kombi’s taps.
Our relationship with local breweries, local mixologists, and national wineries enable us to put together some great packages for you! Ordering “off-menu” is also possible – simply name your favourite tipple and we’ll advise whether we can supply it for your next corporate event or private party.
Whether opting for wet hire or dry hire, we do all the hard work so you don’t need to – from set up, to pack down, and everything in between… all you need to do is enjoy your party!
Our Kombi can even be branded to suit your business, perfect for a unique twist on traditional brand activation events.
We also have empty 19L kegs on hand that can be used for homebrew, soft drinks, spirits, water, etc. Just let us know what you need when you book and we’ll make it happen. Simple!

Kombi Keg West and Outer Melbourne
We are Andrew and Jacinta owners of the gorgeous ‘Tipsy’, a 1960 split screen Kombi catering to the west of Melbourne and the outer region around to Marysville where we run a luxury Airbnb and where we will hopefully soon run a small Kombi caravan park!
We met in a pub in London when we were (much!) younger and have always loved a good party. We are no strangers to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests so are very excited to help make your event extra special.

Many variable costs go into hiring a mobile bar from Kombi Keg Melbourne South West. To get a quick estimation of costs, we recommend contacting our team directly with the date of your event and the expected guest count. From there, we’ll get in touch to discuss our mobile bar hire services in more detail – including the option to have bar staff to serve guests.
Our VW Kombi Keg can access most large properties and venues throughout our service area. The Kombi Keg mobile bar needs to be on private property, as it cannot be used on council property without a permit. Most hire venues are private property, however, every venue has different rules, so check with the venue for their rules and regulations around the serving of alcohol and the use of Kombi Keg Melbourne West and Outer Suburbs. It is the responsibility of the person hiring Kombi Keg to check this before booking as all deposits are non-refundable.
Yes! Anything that comes in keg form can be served through the freezing cold taps of the Kombi Keg. Including ciders, wine, water, soft drinks etc. You can even run your homebrew.
Yes! Consider us your one-stop-shop for your event bar needs. Although we love using our local suppliers, we can get our hands on more commercial brands if so desired. We create drink packages to suit all tastes and budgets.
We can supply staff with an RSA and would be happy to stay and serve your guests as an optional extra. If your mobile bar hire is for a private property, there is a great chance that it can be self-serve. However, you would need to check this out for your area and your event venue.
This is only a general rule of thumb. You know your guests better than anyone else, take into consideration the fact that you might have big drinkers or that maybe only a few enjoy a tipple.
